Michael Farris Endorses Ed Bryant

(This is a copy of an e-mail received from the Bryant campaign via Claiborne Thornton, President of the Tennessee Education Association.)

Michael P. Farris

Constitutional lawyer
and
home schooling author

July 25, 2002

Dear Tennessee Friends,

It is with excitement that I am writing to give my personal endorsement to Ed Bryant who is running for United States Senate in Tennessee. He is a solid conservative with an unwavering pro-family voting record. Ed needs your help to win the August 1st Republican primary.

I can think of no greater compliment than to tell you that Ed is a man I trust to do the right thing as a United States Senator. As a Congressman for the past eight years, he has voted consistently to protect the unborn, receiving a 100% rating from the National Right to Life Committee, and he has earned the endorsement of the Tennessee Right to Life.

Ed will uphold the original intent of the United States Constitution. After serving six years in the US Army, Ed taught Constitutional Law at West Point.

Ed has consistently supported parental rights to direct the education of their children. While serving in Congress he has worked with homeschooling families on issues important to all of us.

At this critical point in our nation's history, we need a man who will take a stand for what is right. We need a man we can trust. I urge you to support Ed Bryant in the Tennessee Republican primary on August 1st.

For Christ and For Liberty,

Michael P. Farris
