Homeschooling
in the Military
National Home Education Network
has a military section. I'd start with these
folks.
http://nhen.org/nhen/pov/military/
This site answers the first question: Whose law do I follow - the
state/country where we are stationed, or our state of residence?
It also answers several other frequently asked questions, has links to
support groups and e-lists as well as links to DoD and other alphabet soup
military entities. NHEN also hosts an online message board for military
homeschooling families and provides links to others. They also are tracking
DoD et. al. policy changes as well as legislation.
HSLDA is also a good resource.
Here's an overview
page that will lead you to more specific information.
Military Homeschoolers.com
Valerie Moon does an excellent job in covering
this issue for those who are in the military homeschooling and for those
homeschoolers who want to
join
the military.

"MHEN is a forthrightly Christian organization created to provide information
and networking for military homeschooling families.
MHEN is located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. However, we encourage all
military homeschoolers/potential homeschoolers to contribute and seek advice
from this site. The primary focus of our organization is the military
homeschooling family."
This organization also has an e-mail list and
message boards.
